Infusing cannabis and milk to make potent weed milk is actually pretty easy if done right. Because THC is fat soluble the key to making the best weed milk is to use a high fat content milk and simmering it at the right temperature.

Weed milk is very versatile and can be used in anything that calls for milk in the recipe. Think about mac and cheese, hot chocolate, cereal, or even a cheesy queso dip.

Choosing a Milk

You have several options when choosing the milk to use in you weed milk and I’ve listed them below by fat content percent.

  • Coconut Milk – 23.8%
  • Human Milk – 4.5%
  • Goat Milk – 4.1%
  • Whole Cow Milk – 3.3%
  • Hemp Milk – 2.9%
  • Soy Milk – 1.6%
  • Almond Milk – 1.3%
  • Rice Milk – 0.8%

Because we want a lot of fat for the THC to bind to, coconut milk is definitely the winner and will be more effective. However, using a different milk will definitely still get you high.

Ingredients

  • 3.5 grams Cannabis
  • 1 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Place the milk in a pot and simmer on low. 230F is ideal
  2. While waiting for the milk to come to temperature finely grind your cannabis.
  3. Once the milk reaches a 230F or a very light boil, add the cannabis.
  4. Simmer for 45 mins.
  5. Remove the milk from the stove and strain out the cannabis with cheesecloth or a coffee filter.
  6. Enjoy!
